Gold wheat slants from winds howling in statements, swayed branches

The white paint peeling off the vacant barn, yields more charm
Crisp scents brought by leaves greeting my senses, near intended

Scenes of a plain nature, roads covered by dirt and footprints
Humble yet so grounded, uncompromised
By disruptions made by those who can’t let, can’t let go

Rise of the smoke which blackens this gold dream, it’s expanding
Through what was once untouched and pristine, now is sprayed clean

Scenes of a built nature, roads covered by trash and skidmarks
Righteous yet so wicked, yet deep inside
There is something, which takes us back from, reality, and enters our psyche, into a scene so divine and pristine, where the wind blows and brings us to our senses
